The San Antonio Spurs may have lost last night 97 – 101 to the Denver Nuggets last night, but it’s a match that will be forgotten very soon.
What will be remembered for a long time, is that it’s in this game that Pau Gasol scored his 20.000th point of his NBA career.
The legendary Spaniard scored 13 which were just enough to increase his career output to 20,001 points.
A two-time NBA champion, Gasol is currently spending his 17th career in the league. He has been a six-time All Star, twice the member of the All-NBA Second Team and selected for the All-NBA Third Team two times.
