There’s a strong possibility that the 2016/2017 season was the last for Luis Scola in the NBA. After spending the last 10 years in the league, the 37-year-old player says that the most likely scenario is to continue his career elsewhere.

In an interview for Canadian radio station TSN, Luis Scola mentioned that the NBA has become “too difficult” for him, therefore he doesn’t really picture himself continuing his career in the league.

“I do not see myself playing another year in the NBA,” said the Argentinian big guy. “I’m not sure at the moment because the season hast just finished. But I’ve realized there isn’t much chance I’ll play in the NBA next year. The NBA has become very difficult for me and I cannot keep doing it. “

Scola became 37 years old on April 30 and while he seems uncertain on how his game fits in the NBA now, he doesn’t see himself retiring anytime soon.

“I’m still a player. I just don’t know where I’ll play”, he added.
