For a second consecutive season there are two European players present in an NBA All-Rookie First Team.

Last year it was Kristaps Porzingis and Nikola Jokic that received the honor and now Dario Saric and Willy Hernangomez have taken the torch.

Saric was voted unanimously gathering 200 points in the process and getting tied with Malcolm Brogdon of the Milwaukee Bucks at the first place. These two players are also the top contenders for winning the Rookie of the Year award, considering that Joel Embiid played only 31 games.

The Croatian forward averaged 12.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.

Meanwhile, Willy Hernangomez received 44 votes for the First Team and 40 for the Second Team, resulting in 128 points. He finished the season with the Knicks averaging 8.2 points plus seven rebounds per game.
