James Harden and Chris Paul together in the same team? Well, it’s happening since the latter is packing his bags for Houston and the Rockets.

The LA Clippers have agreed for a trade that will send Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets, as reported by The Vertical.

In exchange, the Rockets are giving the Clippers Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, Sam Dekker plus a 2018 first-round pick.

Paul choose to opt in to the final year of his contract with the Clippers thus facilitating the trade that is will now pair him with James Harden in the Rockets starting lineup.

As the Vertical reports, Paul’s desire to play at the side of Harden was “strong”. This obviously played a part in the trade which was also in the Clippers’s best interest since they could loose the All-Star guard during free agency without taking something back in return.
