Cedi Osman wanted to make the jump to the NBA this summer and this is now a reality. The young Turkish forward is the newest member of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The 22 years old small forward signed today a three year, $8.5 million, quaranteed deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the next stop of his career will be the NBA.

Osman is already back at Istanbul after meeting with the Cavs in Las Vegas, he will be part of the Turkish national team, but after Eurobasket he will travel to the States in order to join his new team. He was the 31st pick of the 2015 draft, a Turkish cup winner with Anadolu Efes in 2015 and also the winner of two gold medals with the junior Turkish national teams.

His Turkish club, Anadolu Efes, will get a buy out of one million euros which will be covered by the Cavs and his salary.

Osman wrote many times in his official Eurohoops blog that his plan was to leave for the NBA this summer. It was his dream to play alongside LeBron James and he will have the chance to live it from next season.
