German forward Maxi Kleber has signed a partially guaranteed minimum deal with the Dallas Mavericks according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

Kleber will thus join the Mavs for the training camp and it remains to be seen if he will earn a spot in the final roster for 2017/2018.

If he wins the latter, then he’ll join compatriot Dirk Nowitzki and the German town of Wurzburg will get two representatives in the Mavericks.

The 25-year-old forward finished the season with Bayern Munich averaging 9.7 points and 6.6 rebounds during 23 minutes per game in EuroCup, the second-tier continental competition.
