Nicolas Batum’s elbow will reportedly not require surgery. The encouraging news came this morning from a source close to the Charlotte Hornets. Earlier this week, the Hornets said that his recovery would last approximately six to eight weeks, as Batum flew to Dallas to get a second opinion on his elbow. Batum will not be needing surgery and thus his injury is not season-ending.
Batum’s elbow injury came in the first minute of his pre-season debut against the Pistons.
