In a hard fought game, the Houston Rockets amounted an impressive come-back win against the reigning championships by a final score of 122-121.

The Warriors jumped to an early lead 22-9 but the Rockets kept fighting. At the half, the lead was cut to single digits (71-62) in favor of the champs.

No matter the deficit, the Houston Rockets never stopped believing and after Draymond Green went to the locker room due to a left knee strain, Houston took full advantage of his absence.

James Harden was unstoppable, especially in the fourth quarter and led his team to a come from behind win even though they were down thirteen to start the quarter. “The Beard”, finished the game with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists

Kevin Durant hit a potential game-winner at the buzzer but the clock had expired. He had a superb game with 20 points, 5 boards, 7 assists and 4 blocks.

A few European hoopers were also involved in this game. Clint Cappella helped his team secure the win with 12 points and 4 boards while Omri Casspi seemed to injure his uncle after only 4 minutes of action. Zaza Pachulia didn’t enjoy a lot of court time, playing only 10 minutes and had 6 points and 3 boards in a loss.
