According to the official NBA stats, Kristaps Porzingis and Milos Teodosic belong to “clutch” elite in the league right now.

Porzingis is ranked fourth (!) in the top scorers’ list during “Clutch” situations while Teodosic is placed at the sixth spot.

Per the official description by the NBA, “clutch time” is the stretch “during last 5 minutes of a game in which the point differential is 5 or less”. That’s when the “Unicorn” averages 4.4 points, that put him directly below Kevin Durant and Lebron James who share the top spot with 4.9 p.p.g. each, plus Kyrie Irving who has 4.6 p.p.g. in “clutch” situations.

As for Milos, while he’s a rookie in the best league on the planet, he manages an average of 4 points in the final five minutes of close matches. He owes much of this number to the 10 fourth-quarter points he notched in a loss to the Miami Heat on 16/12.
