For a second consecutive season, Giannis Antetokounmpo was named a starter in the NBA All-Star game.

Greek point forward Giannis Antetokounmpo will be the only European player to participate as a starter in the 2018 NBA All-Star game.

With more than two million and a half fan votes, Antetokounmpo was named a starter from the Eastern Conference pool, just as he did last season. Lebron James (captain), Kyrie Irving, DeMar DeRozan and Joel Embiid are the other four starters from the East.

Giannis was ranked first in the Players and Media rankings (tied with  and second in the Fan rankings, after Lebron James.

The Western Conference starters are Stephen Curry (captain), James Harden, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.
