Despite the rough start the L.A. Clippers had in the 2017-2018, mainly due to their many injury problems, Milos Teodosic believes that his squad has what it takes to at least make it to the playoffs.

“We will finish strong and qualify to the playoffs,” Teodosic said in an interview with Somos Basket. “We have new players who have given us versatility and talent in all facets of the game. We are also recovering from our injuries and, little by little, we are improving in terms of understanding what we have to do on the court. We are well positioned to give the final push that will get us to postseason.”

The Clippers suffered an injury plague in the beginning of the season, missing key players like Blake Griffin (now in Detroit Pistons), Danilo Gallinari and Milos Teodosic of course, for several games. The Serbian player believes that these struggles gave some other players the chance to emerge as contributors and his team will cash on that on the long run.

“It’s never nice to see a teammate being away because of the injuries. But what happened to us created several situations in which different players had opportunities that wouldn’t have been there otherwise. Being able to count on everyone’s contribution has surely helped team chemistry.”

The Serbian guard was waiting for the right opportunity to play in the NBA for a long time. And now, he’s thoroughly enjoying his maiden experience in the best league in the planet with the L.A. Clippers.

“This is a team with several different personalities. And I have a lot of fun with this group,”

“I’m very happy with the decision I made this summer to cross the pond and sign with the Clippers. I am enjoying every moment here. It’s great to be able to compete in every game with the best players in the world,” he added.
