The 19-year old ‘wonder-kid’ from Slovenia is the next big thing. According to the latest Sports Illustrated Mock Draft, Doncic would be drafted second behind Arizona’s Deandre Ayton.
In his latest statement however, Luka said the following about the NBA, not confirming anything: “We will know when the season ends.”
Moreover, Luka Doncic, and Real Madrid are getting ready for the crucial game in Belgrade against Crvena Zvezda. As Luka said it will be a tough one: “We are ready to face a tough game. We know what awaits us in Belgrade, with one of the best fans in Europe. It will be hard to win there. I don’t trust Zvezda because they will play without pressure and they are talented. We must give it all since tip-off. All EuroLeague teams are dangerous, and we’ll have to do a good job if we want to win. We must pay attention to their back-court and their three-point shooting while keeping an eye on their big men also.”
He also commented on Panathinaikos‘ game against Valencia. “Panathinaikos won’t fail in the final two games. That is why we must win both games.”
