In the wake of the playoffs, Sixers might be facing trouble as Embiid is ruled out at least for the first round.

Embiid, who collided with Markelle Fultz, will undergo surgery per the team’s announcement.

Per the Sixers, the player underwent a CT scan which revealed an orbital fracture on his left eye and a surgery is set to happen in the following days in order to resolve the issue.

For the moment, there is no official timetable for his return. According to ESPN’s Zach Lowe, Embiid could return in two to four weeks.
