After trailing by 12 points in the third, the Sixers come back but couldn’t steal the game. Croatian Dario Saric finished the game with 27 points and 10 rebounds for the losing side, Joel Embiid had 27 points and 12 rebounds, Turk Ersan Ilyasova added nine points off the bench and Italian Marco Belinelli scored three.

Tatum scored 25 points, Jaylen Brown had 24 and Terry Rozier 17. Al Horford added 15 points and eight rebounds for Boston, which will play Cleveland for the second straight year for a spot in the NBA finals.

Saric gave a crucial 103-102 lead to the Sixers, made big plays down the stretch, but the game was practically decided with 10 seconds left when Embiid turned the ball over while being in Boston’s paint and missed the chance to tie the score at 111.
