The Suns GM indicated that everything is possible when asked about possibly trading the number one pick.

While it is broadly believed that Luka Doncic will be a possible number one pick in the NBA draft, the Suns GM Ryan McDonough indicated that he will consider all option when the time comes.

During an interview with ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, McDonough indicated that they have not ruled out trading the number one pick.

“We’re certainly open to that. We’ll consider it,” McDonough said. “Obviously, we’ll have more information closer to the draft than we do today after we go through the workout process and the interview process and we get the medical physicals. So we’re open to that. I think if you look around the NBA, as far as the veteran players, there are probably a few players we’d consider trading the pick for, not … just pick for player No. 1. So it’ll be a busy month for us.”

With the draft full of superstar potential, it will be hard for the Suns to take a pass at drafting number one, but if the right offer comes around we just might see Luka Doncic selected first and then traded to another team.
