The Greek international talked to COSMOTE TV’s Pick n’ Roll for everything that happened in the 2017-2018 NBA season, the national team as well as Panathinaikos‘ proposal to bring him back.

“My family and the Portland Trail Blazers helped me through a tough time when the Sacramento Kings released me. The positive thing was that the third best team in the Western Conference trusted me and believed in me, even if I had not played enough this year. My contract is guaranteed for the next two years.”

He also talked about Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum: “Both Damian and CJ are great players. They help on and off the court, every day they want to help their teammates, and as I said it is really positive to have star players next to you.”

In addition, he made a comment about this summer, the national team, and the summer league: “I love Greece, love my national team. This year, however, could be tough. I talked with Mr. Georgios Vassilakopoulos and he knows that I have to be in the United States for the summer league games. My manager will talk with my team so that I can take place in both competitions.”

Finally, he stated that Panathinaikos had made him a deal but he chose the toughest road, that of the NBA. “I thank Panathinaikos; it is like my family. There was a chance that I would have come back to Athens and the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, but I chose the tougher way.”
