French point guard Elie Okobo was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the 31st overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
Okobo spent the two previous season playing professional basketball in France with Pau Orthez. The 20-year-old player had a pretty productive output in 2017-2018, posting 12.8. 4.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game.
During the Pro A playoffs, Okobo had a historic, 44-point performance against league powerhouse Monaco.
