As it was reported at the end of the season Thomas Robinson will not stay with Khimki Moscow and there are chances he will go to the NBA. According to HoopsHype’s Alex Kennedy Thomas Robinson is on the NBA teams radar as he received interest from Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, Washington Wizards and Phoenix Suns.
Robinson arrived in the Russian team on September 2017, signing a one-year deal. The 26-year-old player averaged 11.4 and 7.7 rebounds per game in the first nine games of his debut EuroLeague campaign until he suffered a broken hand injury in a match vs. Turkish team Fenerbahce that kept him out for three months.
He finished the season posting 8.2 points, 5.8 rebounds over 15:34 minutes per game while averaging 9.3 points plus 5.5 rebounds in eight VTB League appearances.
