Real Madrid has carried out all necessary procedures for the club’s former guard Luka Doncic to be eligible to have a live practice and play with the Dallas Mavericks, according to Eurohoops sources.
As sources told Eurohoops, the “ball” is now on the Mavericks‘ court that will have to complete the necessary paperwork to have their first-round Draft pick available for basketball activities as part of the organization.
Doncic, 19, has been unable to join the Mavericks as an official member of the team since the case of his $2M Real Madrid buyout hasn’t been resolved. This is another reason why Dallas hasn’t announced the Slovenian player’s signing, as of now.
Real Madrid just recently removed Doncic from the list of team players in the club’s official website.
