The Philadelphia 76ers advanced to the second round of the tournament in Las Vegas, as Furkan Korkmaz led the way.

In the first round of the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League Tournament, the Philadephia 76ers defeated the Phoenix Suns 88 – 86 in a tough and exciting game.

After dropping 40 points against the Boston Celtics, Furkan Korkmaz scored 18 points (7/15 FG) against the 76ers to go along with five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. The 20-year old was also impressive down the stretch, scoring important buckets.

As for the Phoenix Suns, No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton flirted with a double-double, as he put up 10 points and nine rebounds.
