The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Atlanta Hawks have reportedly been engaged in trade talks which involve Carmelo Anthony and Dennis Schroder, according to Mitch Lawrence of Sporting News.
The deal would send Carmelo Anthony to the Hawks while in return the Thunder would get Dennis Schroder and Mike Muscala. Atlanta would handle Anthony’s buyout.
Anthony recently opted into the final year of his contract with the Thunder for $27.9M. The massive financial implications of his decision, along with his role in the team have led the two sides to the point of parting ways.
