Among others, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James sent special messages to Manu Ginobili, congratulating him on an illustrious career.

The athlete who defined international basketball, Manu Ginobili, retired on Monday after a successful 23-year career. The world of basketball was shocked by the news and did not hesitate to congratulate the four-time NBA champion for everything he has done for the sport.

Among others, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James paid their respect to the 41-year old Ginobili with special tweets. The ‘Black Mamba’ who retired in 2016 stated the following: “You are true champion my friend and one of the best I have ever matched up with. Enjoy life after the game hermano. You deserve that and more.”

Meanwhile, the ‘King’ also praised Manu and his ‘Euro-Step’: “Congratulations on one helluva career brother! It was a pleasure to match up against you over the years. Regular season, Finals, National Team, didn’t matter was always a treat! The game of basketball has you to thank for the most swag move in..basketball right now which is the “Euro Step”!!!!
