The Thunder put up a fight, but Stephen Curry scored 32 points and flirted with a triple-double in a 108-100 opening night win.

For the visiting side, German star, Dennis Schroder got the start with Russell Westbrook out and posted 21 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and a block.

Spanish wing, Alex Abrines added 8 points and 2 boards for the losing side.

Earlier, the Boston Celtics took care of business against the 76ers, 105-87 at home.

Gordon Hayward scored 10 points in his return in nearly a year while German big-man Daniel Theis snatched a rebound in four minutes of action.

Dario Saric had 6 points and 6 boards for the Sixers.
