Maccabi Tel Aviv target Okaro White will sign with the Washington Wizards, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
White was close to a deal with Maccabi but the player will ultimately get another chance in the NBA, this time with struggling (6-11) Washington.
Maccabi‘s flirt with White didn’t come into fruition for the second time in months since the two sides were also in negotiations on summer. It was due to a financial difference between the American power forward and the “Yellows” that a deal wasn’t finalized back then.
