The Oklahoma City Thunder soared past the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night, but their impressive win was overshadowed by Hamidou Diallo’s injury. The 20-year-old American rookie was carted off with 7:17 left in the game. His leg was put in awkward position after he grabbed a rebound against Jonas Jerebko.
He had three points, six rebounds, two assists and a block in 17 minutes up to his scary injury. He’ll be further evaluated, but the first medical tests indicated his injury isn’t as serious as it looked.
