Danilo Gallinari was asked how it feels like guarding fellow Euro-big man Marc Gasol. The Italian praised Gasol’s talent on Eurohoops’ camera.
“It’s tough. We play in the same position. He’s a very good center, one of the best in the league. Playing against his team is always tough. The coaches give me the best players in the 3, 4 or 5 position, I got ’em. They want that [from me] and I’m glad”
Followingly, Lou Williams shared his thoughts on having support from Gallinari in the team.
“Galo should’ve been part of it last year. It’s good to see that we can have so many guys on the floor that can create big shots”.
