Boban Marjanovic returns with a strong double-double

Boban Marjanovic nearly fell out of the Los Angeles Clippers’s rotation, before starting a game and posting a double-double.

Marcin Gortat was ruled out of the Los Angeles Clippers’ game with the Phoenix Suns due to back spasms. Doc Rivers’ next choice for his starting center was Boban Marjanovic and the 30-year old Serb center passed the challenge with flying colors.

Marjanovic played a total of 19 minutes in the Californians previous ten games, but was on the court for 19 minutes on Wednesday. He scored 12 points with 3/6 from the field and grabbed 12 boards, also dished an assist helping his team create a nine-game home-winning streak.
