Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo said that he’s not comfortable working out with other players during summer since he’s going to face them during the season.
“I can’t work out with you in the summer and then play you in a few months,” Antetokounmpo said to The Athletic per Bleacher Report. “It feels weird. It doesn’t feel right with me. Like other players, it’s cool for other players, but I don’t. I don’t want to. Other guys do it.”
Giannis also said that he avoids being too friendly with other players since he considers them first and foremost as opponents.
“I hate it when…” Antetokounmpo said. “I hate that. I don’t want [opponents] to see me to be buddy-buddy with me.”
