After his last game against LeBron James, Dwyane Wade met with the press and Eurohoops was there. The “Flash” who is retiring after this season, talked about his legacy and his ranking in his spot NBA’s All-Time shooting guard list.

“The numbers don’t matter to me. They’re so many great players in this game. I wanted to represent my position to the best of my ability. I looked up to Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, who for me were the best players in the position. I gave whatever I had to the game” he mentioned.

So even if he can be considered currently the third best behind his idols, he knows that things may change. “More players are coming and I am going to get known down, but it doesn’t matter to me“.

He previously talked about the shift to the culture he brought with LeBron: “I think it was unprecedented. Going out for a movie and facing each other the next night, people couldn’t understand it at first. You got the Mamba Mentality. This is not for Giannis, it’s not for everybody. We clicked from the beginning, we helped each other, we pushed each other’s career go up to another level”.
