It certainly was a tough night for Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets at the Staples Center. The Serb center was ejected after his air-punching motions against the referees. His team eventually suffered a heavy defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Midway through the third quarter, Jokic was sent off after two technical fouls. His second one came when he reacted to the referees’ decision to charge him with a foul after he shoved Marcin Gortat. Here’s exactly what went down…
The 23-year-old center left with a total of 19 points, also grabbed six rebounds and dished three assists. The Nuggets couldn’t hold on after his ejection.
