Clint Capela was dominant around and above the rim for the Rockets.

Swiss center Clint Capela registered a powerful double-double of 16 points plus 23 (!) rebounds to help the Houston Rockets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 113 – 109 to capture their seventh win in the last eight games.

Capela stayed on the court for 31 minutes. He shot 8/15 from the field while he grabbed 10 out of his 23 boards on the offensive end. He also had three assists, one block, and one steal.

James Harden led the Rockets with 41 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. For the Thunder, Paul George had 28 points and 14 rebounds.

German guard Dennis Schroder scored 10 points and dished out six assists. Spanish wing Alex Abrines was out due to illness. Rockets’ German big guy Isaiah Hartenstein was a DNP.

The Rockets are now 18 – 15 and the Thunder 21 – 12.
