Wednesday’s match between the Chicago Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves marked Derrick Rose’s second appearance in the United Center as a member of the visiting team. He posted 24 points and eight assists leading the Wolves to the “W”, but the Bulls’ fans welcomed him with MVP chants.

Rose remains a fan-favorite in the Windy City. He played for the Bulls from 2008 to 2016 after being the top Draft pick and gained his crowning achievement in 2011 as the season’s MVP. His injury woes took his career to a different direction, but the Chicago fan base never ceased to respect his multiyear effort for the team.
