Facing the Los Angeles Clippers on the road for the first time since his move to the Detroit Pistons, Blake Griffin showed no remorse. He was cheered from the Staples Center crowd before posting a memorable 44-point performance. The 29-year-old American forward led his team to victory making 13/23 from the field including five three-pointers.
Following his masterful performance, he seemed to ignore Steve Ballmer, but later denied he purposely snubbed his former team’s owner. However he did admit that he hasn’t kept touch with any members of the Clippers organization.
On his return to Los Angeles he mentioned: “There was a lot of hype coming into this game and I was looking forward to it, but I’m glad that it’s over. The next time I come it won’t be as crazy”.
