Nikola Jokic was epic on Sunday evening leading the Denver Nuggets to a crucial victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

As if his MVP-caliber season wasn’t yet enough, Nikola Jokic displayed his leading and scoring abilities once more on Sunday leading the Denver Nuggets to the win over the Portland Trail Blazers. The 23-year-old Serb center finished with a 2018-19 personal-best 40 points shooting 15/23 from the field including four threes. He added ten rebounds and eight assists to his impressive tally.

Jokic fell two assists short from his sixth 2018-19 triple-double and one point off his NBA career-high, but surely was the MVP leading his teammates through every tough play down the stretch. The Pepsi Center crowd was on board singing MVP chants during the match, but the ultimate decision isn’t theirs.
