With all of basketball Europe watching, the showdown between the Greek Freak and the Slovenian sensation ended up as most of the Bucks games so far in the season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 31 points and also got 15 rebounds as Milwaukee prevailed over Dallas (116-106).

Luka Doncic registered his first triple-double (18 p. 11 r. 10 as.) and he made it a five-point game (106-101) with three minutes left, but couldn’t get any closer. In the following possession,  Giannis’s answer was a dunk in front of Doncic and the game was over.

Doncic became the second youngest player to register a triple-double in the history of the league. However, Doncic had already registered his first career triple-double last season in the Spanish Liga Endesa.

Kostas Antetokounmpo, the younger brother of Giannis, was sitting on the bench of the Mavs. He didn’t enter the game and the possible match-up with his older brother never materialized.

German legend, Dirk Nowitzki also stayed on the bench while Maxi Kleber added 8 points and 6 rebounds for the Mavs.

After this win, the Bucks are back on the top of the NBA, having the best record in the league (34-12).
