The Houston Rockets have agreed to trade Carmelo Anthony along with cash to the Chicago Bulls, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Anthony won’t play a game for the Bulls and will be released if he clears waivers becoming a free agent.

Anthony has played ten games at the start of the season averaging 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds but was away since mid-November after mutually parting ways with the Rockets.

In the last game he played (8/11/2018), Anthony scored two points while shooting 1-11 from the field against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Also, in order to clear the way for Kenneth Faried, Rockets had to waive James Nunnally who is expected to return to EuroLeague since he piqued the interest of multiple European clubs earlier this month.
