Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki has been invited to the 2019 All-Star Game’s 3-point contest according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.
If Dirk indeed participates in the contest it will be the sixth time in his 21-year NBA career. The 40-year-old German player won the 3-point shootout in the 2006 All-Star Weekend and, in case he repeats that he will become the oldest 3-point champion ever.
The 2019 All-Star Weekend will be held in Charlotte on the 16th and 17th of February.
