Luka Doncic started slow with a couple of airballs, but ended up with 16 points in his first game at the Madison Square Garden. The 19-year-old made 7/18 from the field. He also grabbed eight boards and dished four assists aiding the Dallas Mavericks grab the away victory against the New York Knicks.
“For sure we needed this win. We were struggling on the road” Doncic said on his team’s twelfth straight away win over the Knicks and added: “It was great to play here. I’m looking forward to playing a lot of years here”.
