James Harden kept his historic streak going overcoming Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in the process.

Luka Doncic fell two assists shy of a triple-double on Monday. The 19-year-old Slovenian notched a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double, but was held to eight dimes and the Dallas Mavericks lost to the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center. The Mavs had grabbed the “W” in the two first 2018-19 meetings between the two teams.

On the winning side, James Harden scored 31 points for his 30th straight 30-point match. He’s now just one 30-point performance away from tying Wilt Chamberlain for the second-longest streak of 30-point games in NBA history, but has a long way to go for Chamberlain’s record of 65 consecutive 30-points performances.
