He missed the previous NBA 2018-19 Regular Season match due to right knee soreness, but Giannis Antetokounmpo showed no signs of the injury on Monday leading the Milwaukee Bucks to the “W” against the Chicago Bulls. The Greek Freak made 9/13 from the field for his 29 points. He also grabbed 17 rebounds and dished eight helpers in 35 minutes.

He later gave his entire postgame interview holding a baby and mentioned: “We trusted one another and played with a lot of effort, especially defensively. Offensively we were finding the open man and were able to make the open shots. Down the stretch I was just trying to make plays and be aggressive”.

After the game against his team’s neighboring rival, he was also asked about selecting Nikola Jokic for his All-Star game team. The 24-year-old forward explained: “He’s an amazing talent. He’s having an MVP year. He’s going to pass the ball to everybody and is going to play the right way”.

Lauri Markkanen, who had a 20-point, 17-rebound double-double for the losing side, said: “I was trying to take the drive away. I know Antetokounmpo prefers the right, so that’s what I was trying to do. But obviously he can go both ways, so it was a difficult task”.
