That first All-Star game appearance is something special for every player and the same applies for Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic. As the Serbian big guy said, his debut All-Star game participation is important on every level.

“It means a lot. For my country, my home town, my family. It’s something I leave behind. My legacy. I’m going to remember this my whole life. Hopefully, my kids and my family will remember it too,” Jokic said with a smile.

In his fourth season in the league, Jokic is leading the Nuggets not only to a playoffs return for the first time since 2013, but also to a top placing since his team is currently second in the Western Conference standings with 39 – 18. The “Joker” himself averages 20.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and 7.7 assists.
