The Philadelphia 76ers didn’t have Joel Embiid, but the Portland Trail Blazers newly formed duo of Jusuf Nurkic and Enes Kanter were up and running at the Wells Fargo Center to send their team to the “W”. Nurkic might have paved the way, but Kanter scored nine of his sixteen points in the beginning of the fourth quarter getting the visitors to a commanding 110-89 lead.

The 26-year-old center only needed 21 minutes for 16 points with 6/14 two-pointers. He also grabbed eight boards and dished four assists. His European teammate, Nurkic, didn’t need to get back on the court following the hot start to the last period.
