The Chicago Bulls won’t play in the 2019 NBA Playoffs and are missing several injured players, but still manage to add wins to their tally. On Wednesday they improved to 21-52 by defeating the Washington Wizards in overtime. The results at the United Center further pushed the visitors towards elimination from the playoffs.

Lauri Markkanen notched a game-high 32 points, grabbed thirteen rebounds and dished five helpers in 38 minutes. He was 12/21 from the field, 5/8 beyond the arc including a clutch three-pointer in the extra period. After the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season contest he told Bulls TV: “We’re showing that even with guys down we can step up and win games”.
