The Phoenix Suns have been using younger players recently and Dragan Bender is among Igor Kokoškov’s options. On Sunday, the Houston Rockets comfortably defeated the Arizona organization making a record-breaking 27 shots beyond the arc. However, the 21-year-old Croatian forward poured a 2018-19 Regular Season personal-best 19 points, grabbed eight rebounds as well.

Only a couple of days after his career-high seven rejections against the New Orleans Pelicans, Bender added on his positive showings as a starter despite the blowout loss. His contract season was met with large stat droughts and a bench role in 19 of his 44 games played, but that hasn’t been the case lately with his minutes on the court leaping up.
