A majestic performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo put Milwaukee back on the driver’s seat in the East semifinals

Giannis Antetokounmpo couldn’t be denied, George Hill came from the bench and made a difference and the Milwaukee Bucks got the 123-116 win in Boston, taking the 2-1 lead in the series against the Celtics.

The Greek Freak finished the night with 32 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists, Hill added 21 points and the Bucks by scoring 40 points in the third quarter got a solid 95-87 lead. Milwaukee kept their distance until the end.

Spaniard Nikola Mirotic added 13 points and Turk Ersan Ilyasova had five points and six rebounds for the winning side.

The Celtics were down by 114-97 with less than five minutes left in the game, made their push, but couldn’t get into striking distance.

Kyrie Irving scored 29 points and Jayson Tatum had 20 points and 11 rebounds, still the Celtics were outplayed in the second half of the game. Game 4 of the series will be played on Monday in Boston.
