Dirk Nowitzki recently retired from the NBA, but keeps on tormenting himself playing soccer. A few years back he went viral spectacularly failing to convert a bicycle kick. This time around he attempted a penalty kick at the Toyota Stadium and actually scored, but needed the goaltender to step aside.
The Dallas Mavericks posted the video on Twitter quoting Nowitzki: “I think I pulled my hip flexor” and adding the 40-year-old German is loving retirement. However, Luka Doncic later wrote: “Hell nooooo!” and his former teammate replied “My jeans were too tight and the grass was wet.”
