Even without Kevin Durant, the offense of the Warriors was unstoppable while their defense kept Portland in check. Steph Curry scored 36 points in his fourth 30-point performance this postseason, while Portland was trailing almost from start to finish as the Warriors got the 116-94 win in Game 1 of their conference finals.

Portland’s stars Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum combined for 11 out of 31 shooting attempts and were really not a factor in the game, just two days after their Game 7 win against Denver.

Klay Thompson had 26 points and Swedish forward Jonas Jerebko added nine points and five rebounds in 15 minutes of action for the winners.

Turk center Enes Kanter had a double-double (10 p. 16 r.) but was also unable to turn the tide for Portland.
