Giannis Antetokounmpo sent signed Bucks jersey to Vassilis Spanoulis

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo sent a signed jersey to Olympiacos Piraeus and former Greek national team teammate Vassilis Spanoulis.

Spanoulis shared his Bucks #34 jersey with his Instagram followers. “Thanks for the jersey friend!!!! It’s an honor and pride for all of us to watch you play and represent our country,” Spanoulis wrote with a couple of related emojis.

Antetokounmpo and Spanoulis were teammates with the Greek national team in the 2015 EuroBasket. It was the last tournament for Spanoulis with Greece since he retired from international basketball afterward.

Spanoulis is a former three-time EuroLeague champion and Final Four MVP. He was also named EuroLeague season MVP in 2012-2013, a bit more than a month before the Antetokounmpo was selected with the 15th overall pick in the NBA Draft by the Bucks. This season, Giannis may win his first season MVP award since he’s one of the top frontrunners in the race.
