Pau Gasol managed to play just three games with the Milwaukee Bucks since the season was cut short for him following a left ankle injury. Now, the former two-time NBA champion would like to see himself returning to Milwaukee for 2019-2020.
“I would be positive and I would like to continue with the Bucks of course,” Gasol said after being asked if he’s positive to stay with the Bucks, during the presentation of the “Pau Gasol Academy”, per AS. “That’s why I left San Antonio and I did to join this team, which I think has real potential to win the championship. It was close this season, we fell to Toronto in the playoffs. I don’t know if my presence would have helped to beat Toronto or not.”
Gasol signed with the Bucks in March as a free agent after parting ways with the San Antonio Spurs. The Spanish center becomes 39 in July.
