Dallas Mavericks point forward Luka Doncic will find out ιφ he will be named Rookie of the Year for 2018-2019 on Monday 24/6.
Doncic is one of the frontrunners in the ROY battle, together with Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young. The latter is filled with confidence in this ROY race, having said that he feels he’s “the best” of his rookie class.
Does Doncic feel the same way? “I’m confident. But even if I think I am, I’ll never gonna say it to the media. I’ll keep it to myself. I don’t go out and tell “I’m the Rookie of the Year,” he said to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
“We are just different characters. I enjoy playing the game. Can’t wait until the next season,” Doncic added.
